Why is it against the rules to eat in classrooms, but we have lunch labs which allow us to eat in the classrooms. Is it just
me, or is that rule contradicting itself?
We are not allowed to wear hats in the building, yet we celebrate a so-called
spirit day called "Hat Day" which allows us to wear hats in the building. Another contradicting rule, no?
We are not allowed to have beepers, cell phones, walkmans and/or CD players in the building, but after school is over,
they are allowed. Let me get this straight, we cannot bring them to school, but as soon as the final bell rings, they miraculously
appear in our lockers, eh? Interesting, no?
It is also really sad how students are not allowed to use the elevators
during school, but after school it is permitted. Is it a sin to use them during school? I think not.
VOCABULARY:
If I asked you to define the word "band", you would probably say, a rubber band or an orchestra of musical
players. But in THHS, a band is another school's period.
Every normal school has a term paper, but no, THHS has
collaterals (the THHS word for term papers). The word makes it sound worse, huh?
